The Carlton Galway City Leisure Club has a dedicated children's pool and no restrictions on opening times for children because we recognise the importance of family time and providing children with healthy habits for life. With a child drop-in centre available Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9.30am - 12.30pm and fun filled camps throughout holiday time, our aim is to ensure that adults and children can sample and enjoy all the facilities that we have on offer at this exclusive hotel in Galway city.

With fantastic children's membership rates available and membership free up until the age of four, there has never been such a good time to start exercising as a family together. We have a comprehensive timetable of childrens swimming lessons from beginners through to the advanced.

The Carlton Kids Club is an extra service we offer most weekends and during school holidays to allow you a chance to relax while your children are entertained by our trained staff. The Kids Club runs at this Galway hotel from 9.30am to 1.30pm and resumes at 5pm for children's tea with activities from 6pm to 10pm. There is a charge of €25 per child per night for children from 3 - 15 years of age and includes their dinner and breakfast each day.

The Kids Club team are fully committed to safeguarding the well being of all children and the success of the programme is based on their enthusiasm, good humour, patience and encouragement to ensure full participation in the activities. We offer a fun-filled experience in one of the leading hotels in Galway which includes some of the following;

• Activities take place every hour and include arts & crafts, karaoke, story time, face painting, video time, pool tournaments, video games, dancing competitions and talent shows
• External Trips on offer include the following; Bowling, Cinema, Quasar, Boat Trips, monkey Business Activity Centre, Aquarium, Pet Farms and Beach Treks (there may be a small supplement for external trips)
• Family Events - We encourage families to get together and have fun with discos, pictionary, table quizes and talent shows
• Meal Times are always an event with the kids, parents and staff, music and entertainment. Each evening is different with fancy dress or themed dinner, prize giving and treat
