The Carlton Galway City Leisure Club is much more than a Health and Fitness Club. It is an opportunity to aquaint yourself with other members and to join in with some of the fantastic social events on the calender in one of the leading hotels in Galway.

Thanks to all who attended the recent Barnardos Shopping Evening in the Carlton Hotel Galway City. A great night's shopping was had by all and a huge thank you to all the retailers who supported the evening. Thanks to Avoca, Olio & Farina, Thomas Woodburys, Captain Tortue Clothing, Usbourne Books and Discount Make Up Bag who all provided fantastic prizes for the raffle.

  • What's New for 2010?
    • Mother and Baby Classes (Ducklings) will commence with effect from January 2010. For further information please contact Leisure Club reception.
  • Slimathon
    • Is 2010 the year that you make the changes? Then enrol in our slimathon, this will be a supervised weight loss programme with personalised fitness programming, nutrition and loads of encouragement. We are looking for 12 brave participants who are up for the challenge! Come on!!! For further information please contact Therese in the Leisure Club.
  • Monthly Coffee Mornings
    • These coffee mornings are held the first Friday of every month and are a great opportunity for members to get to know each other and to chat to the staff in a relaxing atmosphere.
  • Drop in Centre for Children 
    • The drop in centre for children is available every Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 9.30am - 12.30pm
  • Golf Society
  • Quiz Night in aid of the Galway Hospice
    • Brush up on your general knowledge, have a great night and come and support our local Hospice on Thursday 25th of February. Teams of four required to register at the Leisure Club. Only how much do you know?
