July 24th, 2009: Today the Irish owned Carlton Hotel Group wins the franchise of a prestigious Galway City Hotel. The Carlton Group, which currently operates nine luxury hotels around Ireland, has entered a long term franchise agreement with the owners of Days Hotel Galway which is now Carlton Hotel Galway City.

The deal will see no change of ownership or control and the management and staff of the hotel will not be affected.  Carlton Hotel Galway City will look forward to welcoming guests arriving for the Races from today onwards.
