We stayed in the hotel during the Galway Races. There was a fantastic buzz in the hotel.Room was lovely, very spacious. Restaurant and bar were good.Leisure centre is perfect for families.Very enjoyable stay.

Had a two-night break in Galway during Arts Festival. Staff extremely helpful and friendly, food was lovely both days. Easily within walking distance from city centre. Would stay again.

We loved this hotel - just enough away from the Galway Races crowds to relax with a bit of quiet and morning swim. We had adjoining rooms that we had asked for and tasty lunch before we continued our journey.

The location, staff and service was fantastic and so professional and friendly. The rooms were spotlessly clean, A+. The ease of taxi's was fantastic. I would definitely recommend the Carlton Galway City Hotel to anybody.

We enjoyed our stay so much in 2009 we decided to come back in 2010, lovely swimming pool, great kids club, excellent food & very friendly staff.Very close to city centre. An excellent holiday overall.

Had a very enjoyable weekend at this hotel. The Rooms are spacious and very clean.

I have to say-after spending months waiting for my summer holidays we started our holidays in the Carlton-My husband Myself and my two young children- the welcome was second to none- and the bar staff were more than friendly and lovely towards the kids -Thanks so much for a wonderful stay-will stay again next year
